Here at Legacy Wood Sculpting, all of my wood products are custom-crafted and hand-made just for you. I can craft anything from drink coasters or stylish bottle openers, to larger items like tables, benches and so much more – using a variety of different wood types!

About Legacy Wood Sculpting
Growing up in Virginia’s rural Shenandoah Valley, I spent countless hours in my grandfather’s workshop. He was a master craftsman, and I was fascinated by how he could transform a rough piece of lumber into something so amazingly beautiful. Regrettably, he died just as I was starting to dabble in his art.
After high school, I joined the Army and continued to share my love for woodworking. During my deployment to Afghanistan, I was frequently asked to build shelves, desks, and beds for my fellow soldiers.
When I returned to the Shenandoah Valley, I took my grandfather’s tools and began studying the art of wood working and wood sculpting more intensely; learning different carpentry techniques and experimenting with different species of wood. I knew my grandfather wouldn’t want his tools to just sit around and collect dust.

New tools in the workshop have allowed me to create even better works of woodcraft art! Introducing my new segmented vases. This new vase I crafted on the left here was made from 241 segmented pieces of figured ash and walnut. Contact me if you’d like a custom vase like this for your home!
